Job Summary:
Position is responsible for developing and implementing business processes to collect, organize, analyze and report information to support the Ascension Health Environmental Stewardship Program and other Facilities Resource Group projects. In addition, the position will serve as staff for the System Green Team and facilitate the sharing of environmental stewardship best practices throughout the Health Ministries.
Responsibilities:
All work is performed with a direct reflection of the Mission, Vision and Values of Ascension Health.
Serve as staff for the System Green Team.
Support the Health Ministries in completing the annual Environmental Stewardship Plans (ESPs) and facilitate the sharing of environmental stewardship best practices across Ascension Health.
Collect and aggregate information from the ESPs to support the development of an annual Environmental Stewardship Report for the Ascension Health Board of Trustees.
Develop processes to collect, organize, summarize and report monthly data for System-wide energy efficiency and waste management programs.
Function as a key contact between the Facilities Resource Group and the Health Ministries to resolve data reporting and quality issues.
Identify new opportunities for implementation of environmental stewardship initiatives.
Develop quality content for the Environmental Stewardship Community on myascesnionhealth.org and encourage the Health Ministries to utilize the site.
Other Accountabilities:
Promotes and exemplifies and supports the Ascension Health Core Values of Service of the Poor, Reverence, Integrity, Wisdom, Creativity, and Dedication.
Provide analytical support for Facilities Infrastructure Pool and associated initiatives.
Collect and summarize relevant facilities data from recently completed Major Capital Projects and other projects within the healthcare industry.
Assist with the collection and analysis of the Monthly Variance Reports for active Major Capital Projects.
Collaborate with other functional areas within Ascension Health (such as Financial Planning and Strategic Development) and Preferred Partners to support the Major Capital Project Process.
The position can require out-of-town travel. The individual should be comfortable with airplane and automobile travel.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in the Sciences or Business Administration required. Five years of related work experience required, with previous experience in a healthcare environment and/or working with sustainability programs strongly preferred. Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel required. Prior use of SPSS or another statistical analysis program desired. Proficiency in SharePoint and Microsoft Office products including Word, Access, Project, PowerPoint and Internet Explorer strongly preferred.

Ability to effectively manage priorities and deadlines
Available for occasional travel
