The company’s breakthrough technology solution performs the heavy lifting involved in predicting, detecting, diagnosing and prioritizing system faults and anomalies constantly present in office, retail, and institutional buildings.
They are seeking a Senior Consulting Engineer to join our professional services team, responsible for on-boarding customers and providing professional consulting and support to our customers and partners.
Responsibilities:
• Baseline data collection, including point and trend data from building automation systems, utility bill data, HVAC/R mechanical equipment data, field performance tests, energy audits, and commissioning reports.
• Evaluate customer data and configure company’s technology for customer assets and relevant diagnostics.
• Provide technical assistance with ongoing review of data and diagnostic results.
• Perform periodic customer and partner site visits to support on-boarding process.
• Provide technical sales support.
Education and Desired Experience:
• BS in Engineering or other Technical Discipline
• Five or more years practical hands-on experience with HVAC/R systems, including service
• Commissioning professional with in-depth knowledge of air and water balance (fan laws, psychrometrics, and fluid dynamics)
• AABC or NEBB certified professional
• Expert in numerous building automation systems (BAS)
• Design experience running energy simulation models
• Experience in performing energy audits
• Experience with database queries using SQL, real plus if familiar with Microsoft .Net framework including VB.Net and/or C#
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, math and problem solving skills
