Ensures that the allied Construction and Design programs (Alternative Energy/Energy Management, Architecture, Civil Technology/GIS, Fashion/Interior Design, Horticulture/Landscape Architecture, and Residential Building/Construction Management) meet all criteria as set forth by their respective industries. Schedules faculty and courses, prepares program budget and monitors expenditures. Facilitates curriculum development and program review and advises students. Maintains liaison with Lansing Community College departments, external agencies, advisory committees and the greater Lansing community in regards to issues pertaining to program development and service delivery.

- Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in a related technical field; Master's Degree preferred
- Relevant, related professional certification (for example LEED AP, RESNET, BPI, CEM, CBCP, AIA, PMP, GISP, NCIDQ, CGIP, RLA, PLS, PE) preferred
- Minimum of five years work experience in a related technical field
- Minimum of three years teaching/training experience
- Minimum of two years management/supervisory experience required; two years of documented project management experience highly desirable.
- Demonstrated experience in obtaining and managing grants from public and private sources is highly desirable.
