Luxury natural products company seeks a full time Production and Distribution Coordinator. We are looking for a brilliant and unique individual with the ability to utilize both sides of his/her brain for this job. This position requires the employee to work on the computer and also with specialized equipment, packing, shipping and organizing, often all in the same day.
Duties include but are not limited to: inventory tracking, creating and maintaining spreadsheets, shipping and receiving, packaging products, buying supplies and materials, wholesale order fulfillment, answering phones, and many other tasks as they arise. Experience with shipping and dangerous goods shipping a plus.
The candidate must be extremely diligent and able to consistently complete their work in a timely and exacting manner with important deadlines. The position requires the ability to work independently; the candidate must be a self-starter and not require supervision.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Incredibly strong attention to detail
- An aesthetic eye with excellent quality control abilities
- Excellent math and checking skills are required
- Proficiency using a Mac and Microsoft Office programs, with at least an Intermediate level of expertise with Excel; internet savvy
- Must have excellent communication and organizational skills with a professional manner
- Must be dedicated to excellence in every task
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with great discretion
- Ability to be assertive and a great problem-solver, and to multi-task and prioritize, with great follow-through
- Resourceful, reliable, ethical, positive attitude, and easy-going
- Reliability and a mature attitude towards work are essential
- Must be able to follow procedures exactly
- Must have a working vehicle and valid drivers’ license and be OK with using your car for work (mileage is reimbursed)
- Ability to lift 25 lbs. and climb stepladders
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
- A keen interest in natural products is a plus
Salary DOE. Mileage reimbursement and excellent benefits package including medical, dental, vision & 401(k)
