Part-Time, On-Site Recruiter

Energy Solutions is a fast-paced and innovative firm with 60+ employees. We are currently seeking a part-time Recruiter to provide general recruitment support for the existing Human Resources department. This junior to mid-level Recruiter is expected to work part-time (average of 20 hours/week), on-site at our Oakland office. With our growing company, work hours may fluctuate and increase up to 40 hours/week during peak recruitment cycles. Compensation will include a base salary with tiered incentives.
Daily responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Developing recruiting strategies to identify qualified candidates through various sources.
• Creating, posting and updating position announcements on different job sites.
• Reviewing resumes, identifying suitable candidates, and conducting phone interviews.
• Managing correspondence with all job applicants.
• Checking references and completing background checks prior to offer stage.
• Documenting status updates to internal tracking systems.
• Researching and establishing points of contact with targeted institutions.
• Expanding resources network for Northern and Southern California locations.
• Attending recruiting and related networking events as needed.
Minimum qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree with one to three years of recruiting experience.
• Excellent organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Outstanding customer service skills with exceptional follow-through.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Microsoft Office Advanced level user.
• A demonstrated professional or personal commitment to the betterment of the environment and the reduction of GHG emissions.
Our BART-accessible office is located in downtown Oakland, California. Compensation is commensurate with experience, and includes a generous retirement package.
