The Ecova Marketing team is responsible for positioning Ecova as leaders in the fast-growing Energy Management space. Our work involves both consumer and business campaigns with the ultimate goal of helping our clients reduce energy use and expense, making their operations more environmentally sustainable. Made up of a diverse group of individuals with backgrounds in energy, design and technology, our team blends analytics with quality creative to develop compelling messages and strategies that can be tracked to deliver maximum ROI. With a strong mandate from the executive team, the Marketing team takes the lead in driving growth, fostering innovation and articulating the needs of the market. We are currently seeking to hire two Marketing Program Managers, one in our Portland, OR office and one in our Spokane, WA office.

Role Description
As the Marketing Program Manager you will be responsible for go to market strategy, identifying marketing mix, campaign development and owners. You will collaboration with product and solution owners and the various marketing functions (PR, Design, Web etc.) to execute on campaigns and initiatives. You will act as the point person for sales teams and you will work closely with management to create programs that will generate quality leads and drive sales revenue. This role is uniquely responsible for managing field marketing for Ecova’s energy management offerings.

A primary objective of this role is to build targeted campaigns utilizing the full marketing mix including: messaging, positioning, PR, direct mail, online, social media and events to achieve sales and marketing objectives. You will work with sales and customer teams to understand the needs and opportunities in specific regions and market segments and you will partner with sales and solution owners to ensure campaigns and initiatives are aligned and achieve targets.

You will assist with creating and mapping marketing assets and campaign approaches to specific stages of the sales process to maximize pipeline velocity. You will evaluate marketing, event and PR plans in assigned markets/areas, and you will track and analyze ROI of marketing campaigns and activities.

To support these objectives you will create email content and other assets to promote local events and initiatives, deploy direct marketing strategies including thought leadership campaigns and other direct mail tactics, help to create high quality marketing presentations, along with additional demand generation activities to support team goals.

Role Competencies
As our ideal candidate you possess a Bachelor’s degree preferably in Business Management or Communication with an emphasis in Marketing. You have three or more years experience as a Marketing Manager, preferably as a Field Manager in energy management or related industry.

You have proven ability to develop and execute a strategic PR plan, to promote campaign development in support of sales team needs, and to conceptualize, develop and manage marketing campaigns and measure impact. You have managed budgets and you have experience drafting and reviewing contracts.

Your project and program management skills along with your and ability to motivate others are among your greatest strengths. You also pride yourself in your excellent presentation and communication skills, and your ability to communicate clearly and concisely. You possess strong writing, editing, research and organizational skills and you are proficient in Microsoft Office.
