Improving the energy performance of existing homes and businesses is an increasing focus of state and federal policy, and is the basis for several new regional, state and national programs. CCSE is implementing several of these programs, including the Comprehensive Residential Retrofit Program, which is funded by the California Energy Commission (CEC) as part of their State Energy Program. CCSE has partnered with the County of San Diego, Heschong Mahone Group, Inc. (HMG), California Building Performance Contractors Association (CBPCA), and a consortium of local governments, workforce development organizations, community colleges and SDG&E’s Whole-House retrofit incentives program, to design and implement this program.
The Residential Retrofit Program Manager (RRPM) will be responsible for leading the single family segment of the Comprehensive Residential Retrofit Program. Program success will require building and strengthening relationships with key regional government colleagues, funding agencies and multiple retrofit market stakeholders, as well as effective internal coordination. Responsibilities include overseeing all aspects of the program: developing and implementing program strategies, budgets, training, marketing, quality control and reporting. The RRPM will work with the Building Retrofit Program Manager (BRPM), Energy Upgrade California Program Manager (EUCPM) and the rest of the CCSE retrofit program team to ensure the success of regional retrofit programs
