Responsibilities:
Woodard & Curran is offering a unique opportunity to join our White Plains, NY team providing high quality civil and environmental services to the municipal, private, and industrial clients throughout the region. The successful candidate will be a motivated, growth oriented professional with an entrepreneurial spirit and willingness to serve in a key role on a respected team of well known professionals in an office that is growing into one of the firm’s premier locations.

This position will lead and support engineering efforts in many of the following areas: planning, design and construction of water, wastewater, site-civil, and stormwater projects. The successful candidate will have technical expertise in the field of civil and environmental engineering, and have in-depth understanding of the engineering concepts associated with water and wastewater treatment, storm-water management, site design, and utility engineering, and a working knowledge of water supply and wastewater operations. The successful candidate will also have experience preparing engineering reports and contract documents for construction; use of CAD, GIS, and computer modeling techniques; and overseeing construction of work design. This position may require occasional, project-dependent regional travel to Woodard & Curran offices and project sites.

In addition, this position will require experience in the following supervisory and project engineering duties:
• Coordinating the work of engineers, and developing and monitoring project schedules and budgets
• Making decisions independently on engineering problems and methods
• Mentoring and directing staff on technical assignments, and reviewing technical work completed by engineers under supervision
• Interacting with clients, representing the firm in a professional manner

Qualifications:
• 3-8 years of engineering experience
• B.S. Degree in Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum EIT registration, P.E. preferred
• Experience with consulting engineering desired
• Membership in appropriate professional societies
• Excellent computer, verbal, and written skills required.
