Basic Qualifications:
Must have experience in information technology.
Core Competencies:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Typically possesses two or more years of project management experience.
- Typically possesses five or more years experience with regulatory and compliance programs (e.g., NERC).
- Demonstrated experience in information technology.
- Demonstrated experience with processes, procedures, operations, and other compliance initiatives and impacts as they relate to NERC CIP.
- Demonstrated experience working across multiple organizations such as Information Technology, Engineering, Regulatory, Law, Operations, Security, etc.
- Demonstrated ability to function in a team environment working on complex projects.
- Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to accurately analyze information and make strategic decisions.
- Demonstrated ability to interface effectively with clients, peers, contractors, regulatory agencies and all levels of management to develop solutions and ensure stakeholder buy-in.
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative and accountability for results.
- Demonstrated experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Must demonstrate the ability to integrate work across relevant areas, develop the business and services to enhance customer satisfaction and productivity, manage risks and safety appropriately, develop and execute business plans, manage information, and provide exceptional service to internal and external customers.

- Must be able travel occasionally throughout the Edison service territory and the Western Electricity Coordinating Council (WECC) region.
COMMENTS: Additional testing may be required as part of the selection process for this position.
This position has been identified as a NERC/CIP impacted position – Prior to being hired, the successful candidate must pass a Personnel Risk Assessment (PRA) or Background Investigation. Once hired, the candidate must complete specified training prior to gaining un-escorted access to assigned work location and performing necessary job duties.

Typical Responsibilities:
This position will be in the Business Planning and Development division within Southern California Edison's (SCE) Power Production Department (PPD). The successful candidate will provide project management oversight of all relevant North American Electric Reliability Corporation Critical Infrastructure Protection (NERC CIP) regulations and assist in developing and maintaining supporting compliance activities and documentation for internal and external audits.
Typical responsibilities include: Developing and maintaining an integrated NERC CIP compliance program for identified PPD critical cyber assets; providing consultation and direction to PPD operational and maintenance personnel and management to address NERC CIP requirements and measurements and maintaining compliance; conducting regular meetings with PPD personnel and management on NERC CIP compliance status, issues, risks, and proposed mitigations; interfacing with internal and external (state, regional, and federal) regulatory, legal, and audit organizations for compliance; maintaining an environment of continuous improvement in the NERC CIP compliance program; developing effective and efficient methodologies to maintain compliance while minimizing operational impacts and maximizing resource use; and performing other responsibilities and duties as assigned. This position will be responsible for occasional travel throughout the Edison service territory and the Western Electricity Coordinating Council (WECC) region.
