Consumer Goods Director of Sustainability – North America

A service provider assisting clients in implementing sustainable development into product & packaging, and supply chain. The integration of corporate sustainability unto business strategy to manage both social & economic risk. We are looking for an expert in the industry who will drive the development of the "Sustainability Services" in the North America region with a team of technical and sales specialist.
The Role:
Dual reporting into VP of Consumer Testing Services in both USA and Hong Kong, you will be accountable for:
Developing and implementing sustainability services based on clients present and future needs
Defining pricing strategy, developing customers' portfolio with P&L accountability of the business
Managing and growing this newly created business area in North America
Supervising the success of key accounts within the strategic accounts platform
Creating and implementing training and communication of specific tools required for sustainability services
Supporting sales and marketing activities as needed through direct sales process involvement or commercial and technical support
Identifying opportunities and representing the company's sustainability services by presenting and participating in external industry conferences
Participating as a member of the Global Sustainability team ensuring best practices are adopted globally adhered and developing business worldwide
The Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in business or the sciences preferred
8-10+ years of experience developing and managing social compliance auditing and related services
Experience with global supply chain structure for consumer products and company deployment
Recognized expert in the field of sustainability/environment with exposure to responsible supply chain and ecodesign
Ability to multi task with competing priorities across departments in a matrix environment
Inspire and lead effective collaboration with global counter-parts
Strong analytical and problem solving skills coupled with the ability to follow through and execute
25% travel and relocation package offered within USA to move to New Jersey
