The individual selected for this position will participate in the implementation of application reporting solutions for reporting for internal and external clients leveraging existing framework and enhancing that framework with new features. This individual will also support team members in user account management and running automated database scripts. A strong desire to learn the technologies we use and a passion to extend and expand that knowledge is very important. You will work both autonomously and as a team committed to producing results.
Responsibilities will include:
•Learn and understand the business requirements, current applications and design enhancements needed
•Effectively collaborate with team members, internal and external clients.
•Continuously improve technical knowledge and skills
•Communicate with management and others regarding project opportunity and risks in an effective and timely manner
•Assist other staff in supporting existing application generated reports using XML
•Assist other staff in creating new application generated reports using XML
•Assist other staff in creating, changing, and deleting user accounts in multiple systems
•Assist other staff in running and monitoring database modification scripts
•Assist other staff in the preparation of required documentation
•Assist other staff in debugging and solving reporting, programming or design issues
•Produce results and expected deliverables in an agile environment with short delivery timeframes
Qualifications:
•BS/BA in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience
•Strong attention to multiple details
•Drive and passion for technology
•Self starter
•Great interpersonal and communication skills
•Experience with reporting technologies, with strong adherence to design specifications
•Experience with user account configuration and management in applications
•Experience with relational databases and RDBMS tools
•Must be a team player and be able to work in an operationally critical, diverse and dynamic environment
•Good troubleshooting and debugging skills
Desired Technology Experience for Associate Applications Developer:
•1+ years application reporting design and support
•1+ years Oracle 10g and/or SQL Server
•1+ years XML
•Exposure to image editing/manipulation tools
Salary Range: Commensurate with experience
Compensation package includes paid holidays, 80% paid medical, 50% paid dental, paid life & AD&D and paid STD & LTD insurance coverage, plus employer matching retirement plan
