Area Sales Manager, Environmental Services – Pacific Northwest States

We are currently seeking experienced, proven sales professionals capable of driving new business in the Pacific Northwest
As the Area Sales Manager, you will be accountable for generating profitable sales growth through customer-centric, consultative solutions that meet or exceed all environmental protection regulatory requirements. You will utilize your business insights and intimate knowledge of municipal and industrial processes to capitalize on your customer’s environmental and financial drivers.
Your new business development experience will be crucial to your success in generating new leads, connecting with decision makers, selling the value of our client’s services and ultimately driving revenue with the addition of new accounts.
Your consultative sales experience will give you the confidence to leverage new and existing customer contacts, to identify new opportunities and capitalize on additional streams of revenue within your accounts.
Ideal candidates will have proven sales leadership experience along with:
• Minimum 7-10 years consultative selling experience for value-based services in the municipal or industrial water/wastewater treatment, environmental services, construction, energy, metals and mining,chemicals manufacturing, engineering industries or other related fields.
• A proven track record of success in providing proactive (not reactive) consultative sales.
• The ability to motivate buying behavior in municipal and industrial settings.
• Impeccable strategic account planning and positioning skills, accompanied by a disciplined ability to conduct due diligence and dependable follow up.
• Strong territory management skills in large, multi-state geographies.
• Hunter mentality
• Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field
• In depth understanding of industrial and municipal water and wastewater treatment is desired.
